| While responding to blog comments, Valerie Vodka suggested I smoke a cigar and drink some whisky.?I could have done that, but I really like long island iced teas, so I decided to attempt one of those.?Tequila, check.?Triple sec, check.?Vodka, check.?Another kind of vodka, check.?Peach schnapps, check.?Rum, check.?It didn't look right, so I added some OJ to cut it (pun intended).?I started mixing them in a highball, and ran out of volume, so I transfered to a large subway cup.?The second and third ones also had cabernet.?Because it seemed like a good idea at the time.?Then I swallowed half of the dip I forgot I had in my mouth and it was all over.?Many apologies for the drunk dials last night...Speaking of drunk dials, in 2 1/2 months we are having a little get together on St Simons Island in Georgia, about an hour south of Savannah.?The hotel rooms are little more than $100 per night, and you can get a roommate and half your cost.?So far we have about 65 people that have signed on and reserved rooms.?I would like to see more of you there.?Carla has friends coming, Kate has friends coming, and so do I.?But I would like for you all to come.?You read my blogs and shake your head at my opinions, but you still think I'm fabulous or you wouldn't be reading this now.? |
